I’m 8 months pregnant. Me and my boyfriend are having our first baby together. We’ve been together for 6 years. Anyways we just got some disturbing news now coming time for baby shower a lot of our family members are meeting eachother and now his mom seems to think we are 6th cousins. I’m deeply disturbed and I don’t know what to think. Literally have been on ancestry DNA trying to find a real connection because if I know that side of my family they call anyone cousin even if they aren’t related, so I was trying to find a direct link from any of our great great great great grandparents and haven’t found it yet but what if it is true?? I don’t think 6th cousins share DNA but is this a common thing? Please someone say something comforting. I’ve been freaking out about it 😭😭😭😭
