Has anyone travelled in their first trimester?

We have our honeymoon booked for 5 nights in Mexico near the beginning of February and I don't want to have to cancel it.

I will be 7 weeks then, and I won't be having my first prenatal appointment until after then.

I'm not worried about flying if I'm sick or anything like that. I realize that might be the reality and I've accepted that.

I'm worried about if I have a miscarriage while I'm out of my home country (Canada). We are only gone for 5 1/2 days, what are the chances it would happen while I'm gone? I can get medical insurance for another $135 (for me) or $250 (for both hubby and I). But even if I did miscarry do you go to the hospital right away? Would I wait until I'm back in Canada?

I know the odds are that I won't miscarry as well but I know that it still happens and my sister in law miscarried at 7 weeks which is maybe why I'm a little stressed out about the timing 😓
