Hey guys,

I have surgery for my wisdom teeth in the next two weeks and I’m worried because I have three cartilage piercings and they’re all still kinda infected. I’ve been told that I have to take them out for the procedure but I’m worried that they’ll close. I went to my piercer and she said that I can put a cartilage retainer (a plastic piercing) in my piercings, but I’m still worried that I won’t be allowed them even though they’re plastic. Someone please tell me what I should do
