Doe this sound like enough food for a dinner party of 6 adults?
I’m having my parents and in laws over for dinner on Saturday night. We’ve never had all of them over at once so I’m just a little nervous. Btw my parents are divorced so this would be my dad and his gf that I never lived with. The only ‘picky’ eater is my dad but everyone else is adventurous about food. My kitchen only has a toaster oven and 1 gas stove burner so this is what I came up with:
- brisket and mushroom stew
- side of homemade sourdough bread
- side salad made of quinoa/kale/beets/goat cheese
- possibly a side of pumpkin risotto? Is that necessary if we’re having the bread as a carb?
- red wine and some beer
And my MIL will bring dessert
