Chemical pregnancy?

I’m assuming no TW needed since the group is for miscarriages? Please correct me if not! But regardless just warning y’all that I’m describing things fairly detailed for opinions.

So I have a 4 year old, and a 16 month old. I had two miscarriages before our 4 year old and 1 in between him and our daughter. All of them occurred in the 6-8 week range.

Recently I misjudged my ovulation window by slacking off on my fertility tracking due to being busy( we use FAM, not the guesstimate listed on the app lol), well I ovulated later and we DTD unprotected lol. Yes, I know we were dumb 😂

Anyways. I was 1000% sure I was pregnant. About a week after ovulation I was having diarrhea, cramping, food aversions, specifically chicken which has been my pregnancy nemesis when it comes to food, nauseous, throwing up, severe headaches, sore breasts, still nursing my daughter and my nipples would sting like crazy while she nursed, light headed and dizzy, and then I was having tons of snot like discharge that is not normal for a regular cycle however I do get discharge like that while pregnant. It lasted all day long daily until yesterday evening.

Anyways. I took a few tests the day of my expected period. Got a bunch of negatives despite all the symptoms, so I tried a different kind of test and got a faint positive. Left it at that. Now my “period” started today, so it would be “5 days late” by my calculations and it’s extremely heavy, filled with clots, and some of the bleeding is this jelly like stuff that I remember from previous miscarriages…

All of the pregnancy symptoms faded slowly yesterday and then by night time they were gone.

I still feel kinda blech but don’t feel pregnant anymore. Cramping is way worse than usual as well. Took two more tests this morning and both were negative. am I just having a really horrid period with severe hormonal upset and had a false positive? Or does it sound like a miscarriage?

It’s been awhile so I don’t remember my miscarriages very clearly. Thanks ladies!
