Can ovulation test detect pregnancy ?

Sorry if this isn't ment to be for this group but it involves ovulation tests... i took a pregnancy test few days ago which came out positive on all 4 of them... i got so excited about the news i didn't believe my eyes i accidentally took an ovulation test and it came out positive within the time frame aswell and i havent realised it was an ovulation test until the next day on the package 😆😅 could ovulation test detect HCG?

Yes. Pregnancy hormone is cross-reactive with the chemicals used in ovulation tests, so it can cause a positive-appearing test. As long as you’re still getting positive pregnancy tests, I wouldn’t worry about it. 🙂

yes ovulation tests sometimes pick up hcg and coke out positive. I did the same thing I accidentally took a ovulation one and it was positive and then took a pregnancy and was also positive
