Mucous plug question? (No picture)

Sorry if this question is TMI but when your plug comes out is it always bloody? I'm 38+5 and just had a big glob of yellow jelly snot like substance when I wiped, could that be my plug or just regular discharge?

I lost mine yesterday and it had no blood but I knew it was my plug. But I posted a picture on here lol and my best friend also knows what it looks like and said I lost it as well as my mother. So no it not always bloody.

It's not always bloody but if it was more snotty then like a big solid plug it's probably just cm and sign that you are losing your plug. As your cervix starts to prepare for labor you'll get more of that snotty mucus it's normal in the last few weeks to have an increase in it.
