Fibromyalgia

My doctor just diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. Anyone else been diagnosed with this? How did you manage? Do you just push through the pain and what not? Like if I push myself to exercise even tho I have chronic pain will it do more damage than good? I need to lose weight but now I’m afraid to push myself as I’m always in pain. This all started after I had covid 2 years ago. Before that I was fit, healthy, exercised regularly, hardly got sick, hardly experienced pain unless it was after a big workout. I feel like my life is over with this stupid diagnosis as there is no cure.
