am I overthinking

my bd/bf and I are laying in bed. I asked him where his phone was he said it was “on the charger”. 5 minutes later my son hands me the charger that was never even plugged in. I showed my bd and he pulled his phone out of his pocket. Like didn’t you just say it was on the charger?

When I was confused as to why he lied to me he kept saying he didn’t know it was in his pocket and was basically saying he wouldn’t give me sex and cuddles if I kept going on about it. He kept saying that I’d never change. Like idk if he really thought it was on the charger or if he didn’t want to tell me it was in his pocket cause he thought I was gonna go through it.
