Do you and your partner have the same sex drive ? If not , how do you make it work ?

for over a year now we both have jumped on sex any chance we get (we don't live together and i a couple months ago moved an hour away) we find each other very passionate and sometimes it wasnt as good and sometimes it was so good i wanted more. Which i would express to him of course and he always wanted more too. Until recently he started acting uninterested and the past couple of times havent been so good. We take turns pleasing each other so we both are satisfied but ive noticed when i get to me he doesnt wanna do it how i enjoy, and i dont wanna ever make him uncomfy. I try to do what he wants and enjoy it but i can tell hes changed and its definitely not as passionate. He came over 3 days ago and told me after acting strange for a month and not engaging sexual contact with me that he thought we need to do it less so its more special and passionate when we have sex. Which i've never struggled with, i thought we were great and he showed he was also enjoying it. We would kiss and hold hands, switch positions, satisfy each other and always communicate. Its like a switch just flipped on for him and ever since i can tell he is distracted when we have sex. Now him getting hard has never been a problem, if he doesn't tell me im beautiful at least i know he gets hard at the sight of me. its strangely like reassurance for me. But his mind is definitely somewhere else and he doesn't seem to try and satisfy me like he did before. (i kept giving him head in hopes it would turn him on but he acted really weird after) , also don't comment saying "he's a guy he has right to his own feelings" i am very aware of that and im basically asking how do i help my situation and what should i do to make it more special?. Any advice?

We used to always be all over each other multiple times a day, no lie!! But that was before we had our twins... They're 8 months old and teething, growth spurts, sleep regression etc leaving me so overwhelmingly sleep deprived and I have hypothyroidism which makes me super fatigued on top of that, we just try to touch each other throughout the day letting each other know we're still here for one another and given an opportunity we're jumping on it, lol 😆🤦🏻‍♀️ it's the way to keep things spicy, letting him know I still very much desire him even when I'm too exhausted to actually do the deed... It works for us! I love giving him BJ's and sometimes that's all the time we have but he returns the favor when we get a chance, of course we cuddle and sleep together when we can too!! We find what works for us! 🙂

We don’t. There’s no such thing as compromise when it comes to consent. If I’m not interested, we’re not having sex. If he’s not interested, we’re not having sex. Both of us can masturbate when we want.

Absolutely not. I used to have the highest drive. Then suddenly mine dropped significantly and my husbands drive went up. It’s honestly been difficult because I have to seriously be in the mood which again, is hard since my husband has ZERO foreplay game and I can’t get wet at all. Most of the time, I just suck it up and do it in the mornings since it’s over much quicker and I can get on with my day. It’s not that I don’t love him or not attracted to him. I just don’t really care to have sex. It’s too much work and it’s just plain uncomfortable. 🤷🏻‍♀️
