I’ve been taking birth control pills for about a year and I’ve been really good about not missing or forgetting but this past month I had food poisoning and threw up one of the pills at the end of my first week. Which I wasn’t able to replace so technically I missed it. About a week later I had mid cycle cramping which I never have, I assume to be ovulation since I was told missing a pill could trigger ovulation. Coincidentally I had had sex the day before and a few days after.

Period was late. Tested on the day I was supposed to get it, negative. Ended up getting bleeding yesterday, 3 days late, very mild cramping. Was able to fill up a regular size tampon with small clots. Today is day two of my “period” and it’s basically just very light spotting now which is not normal for me. Usually I get heavy bleeding with a lot of clots for about a week. I feel like I want to test again today but wondering if I should wait a few days??? If the mid cycle cramping was ovulation I would be 16dpo. Could possibly be implantation bleeding just heavy? Has anyone experienced that?
