Help! I don’t want to be pregnant but could I be?

We had unprotected sex one time the day before my very regularly scheduled period. (Because that is considered a pretty “safe” day.) well it didn’t end up coming the next day and now it’s a week late. I’ve taken a pregnancy test every day and it says negative, but could it be I got pregnant that day somehow and now the pregnancy test won’t show up for another month?!? 😭😭

It’s likely just your period running late. It can be for several reasons. Stress/anxiety can also postpone it

Most likely just anxiety. If you don’t get your period in a few more days, maybe call your OBGYN and see if they can do a blood test to confirm you aren’t pregnant for peace of mind.

For reference there aren’t really any safe days as you put it, if you don’t want to get pregnant you need to use a valid form of contraception every time
