Sorry, this isn’t a callout. I’d email, but you’ve been pretty clear you don’t want that. There’s no in app reporting option for this one, and it’s not really a tech support issue either, so I don’t want to post it in that group. I’d really appreciate it if you took community feedback into consideration, even if you eventually delete this post. 🙂

Anyway, we’ve discovered downvoting hides comments. 🕵🏻 Could you possibly reconsider the threshold of downvotes to hide just for CC? My comments are disappearing. Other’s comments are disappearing. I like that it happens if we all collectively decide the person is posting something truly awful, but a few people hitting that thumbs down should not make things invisible.

Questions for the community:

*I believe the current threshold is either 9 or 10 votes. What number of downvotes to hide a comment would make everyone more comfortable?

*Do you use the downvote option?

I sometimes use it. I try only to downvote opinions I dislike, not specific users. However, since the disappearing comments issue, I try to use it sparingly.
