What prescription pain med did you take for when you got
Your tubes tied and for how long? Asking bc I have a low pain tolerance and also have a 2 month old !

I didn't take anything but they prescribe you pain meds before your procedure so that they're ready for you once you get it done. Ask your Dr about it and if it's a strong med, see about getting anti nausea pills as well and a stool softener. They can make you nauseated and constipated

My surgery is in a few days. My doctor has prescribed me ibuprofen and norco (only if the ibuprofen isn’t enough). I’m thinking i’ll only need the ibuprofen though. And stool softeners and nausea meds for IF i take the norco.

I honestly only took Tylenol. They prescribed hydros but I didn’t care for them. I handle pain well though so you might want something. I was working again 3 days after the procedure. The gas trying to get out after the surgery was the only thing that hurt me.

I took oxy for a few days after the procedure but I also got mine tied after c-section.

They prescribed me oxy, but I hate how it makes me feel. Probably took ibuprofen three (maybe four?) times during my two-week recovery period. To be totally honest, the weight lifting and pelvic rest restrictions are way less tolerable than any pain you'll feel.

They had given me Lortab 10mg....for like 15 of them
