Strange Spotting/Discharge?

I just turned around 7 weeks and this morning when I wiped I had this brown/slightly pink spotting/discharge.

I called my ob and the nurse was like we can't do anything for you just go to the hospital if you start bleeding heavy or cramping. And no sex. 
Just to keep my appointment next Tuesday.

I was wondering like, you don't want to check for BV or anything else just in case?

But anyways has anyone had this and been just fine? I'm making myself sick worrying about it because I love my baby so much already. I just want to know he or she is okay.

I had exactly what you're describing from 6-9 weeks off and on. As long as it isn't excessive, you aren't passing big clots, and it isn't accompanied by severe cramping, you don't need to worry. Light spotting is very normal as your uterus stretches to make room for baby. Be sure to stay very hydrated and keep an eye on it, but don't stress :) best of luck!!

I had that around nine weeks and it turned out being a bladder infection that I didn't know I had. They should check for that at your next appointment. Try not to worry about every symptom. It will make you crazy 😉

I spotted around 9 weeks for three days.  It was pink/reddish discharge and sometimes brown. My midwives also did not want to see me right away as there is nothing they can really do and unless you're bleeding bright red soaking a pad per hour and/or having severs cramps...you're most likely ok.  My midwife said that in most cases spotting does NOT mean you're miscarrying.  Sometimes we can bleed/spot around the time our periods would have been starting. Just kick your feet up and rest. I stopped bleeding after the 3rd day and I'm now 17 weeks pregnant. I know first hand it's super scary!  I'll keep you on my thoughts/prayers!   😊 Keep your chin up mama!!
