Hi all,

This is my first time being pregnant so everything is new and little overwhelming to me.

I’m 6 weeks and 5 days, and started to experience some light bleeding yesterday afternoon and it hasn’t stopped into today. It’s a brownish color and light, but still enough to where I need a panty liner. I also experienced some light, intermittent cramps last night and this morning.

Everything I’ve read assures me it’s not uncommon, but of course my mind has gone to worst case scenario and I can’t stop worrying. I’m supposed to have my first prenatal appointment in Week 8 but I’m going to call my doctor tomorrow just to let them know.

Has anyone gone through this and could offer some words of encouragement? I would appreciate it.
