What are your thoughts about godparents ?? 
I'm  stuck on the inbetween !!! :\

If you're religious, sure. If not I don't see the point. We're not religious and my son doesn't have any. For those of you who have them, I'm not sure they're legally binding should something happen to you and your partner. The best thing to do is write a will with explicit instructions on who will care for your child(ren) in the event of your deaths.

As a man I believe godparents are a great thing to have. Not only does it make the bond between your friendship stronger but it also gives you a piece of mind if the worst should happen. My girlfriend thinks I'm mad tho lol

We had decided on some friends of ours before our son was born. I wish I would have waited till after he was born. Because I think I would have chosen differently. We decided to add my sister on as a god parent as well to make me feel better. Think long and hard about it. And don't make a final decision until baby arrives. The way u think changes

I did not grow up with them as my family is not religious, however my husband is Armenian and that's something important to his family so we'll be doing godparents. I kind of like the idea too, why not! Just one more special thing baby gets to experience.
