Should I announce?

I’m only 8w2d and I’m so excited to announce! I’ve had prior losses before so I’m nervous but still really excited. Should I announce this early? (Had to remake the question because I realize my explanation and question weren’t the same)

There's no rules, annouce when you feel comfortable. I'm not announcing publicly but the people we did tell, we told early (6 weeks ish). If something happened then i know I'd want the support from them.

You should announce whenever is best for you. Just think of all the possible outcomes, good and bad, and how you'd feel if you had or had not announced yet. Some people prefer the support but other prefer nobody to know.

If you want to, then yes! Usually its not recommened because its hard to relive and cope and explain to everyone after encountering a loss later on. So usually they say not to announce for the parents sake IF something were to happen

Congrats! Announce whenever you’re comfortable. I’ve had previous losses as well. We told family at 8 weeks & waited to tell public till 12 weeks

I say yes.. if you want to announce it go ahead.. not to place fear but at any stage you can lose a baby.. i never understood waiting.. tell when you’re ready
