Would you be upset?

We went on a trip last week, and stayed with my husbands best friend & wife from college. They have 2 littles. They had just come back home from out of country several days before we came. Second day into our stay with them, she mentions in passing that they’ve all felt sick since they got back home. She mentions this AFTER we’d already hugged them, our kids were playing together, my baby son had put some of their toys in his mouth, and she’d been holding him too. I was like what?! Why on earth didn’t they tell us, so we could get a place to stay or at least been more careful while at their place? Now I’ve got a nasty cold and my 10 month old son is getting sick too. I don’t even know what kind of sickness it is since they’ve been out of the country.
