Just wondering this: is it possible to get a negative on a cheapo test and still be pregnant ?

This hasn't happened to me , I haven't taken a test yet , but is it possible ?

I took clear blue digital (expensive) this morning and got a negative. this afternoon I decided to take early response and got my bfp!!! :)

As far as I've read and researched... It's quite possible to get a false negative but not a false positive. A false negative could be from testing too early, a low quality test, not testing with first morning urine -FMU- (which is when the HCG will be most concentrated) or testing after drinking a lot of fluid which can then dilute the HCG in your system. This is why it's best to wait till period is due and use FMU. Hope that's helps!
