One way to compare ovulation test results

You might have noticed that sometimes when you try to compare your ovulation strip from yesterday to today, the line from yesterday appears different than it did yesterday. Why?

Most ovulation test manufacturers put very clear instructions on their tests that the results must not be read after 5 minutes. That’s because of evaporation lines. Evaporation lines are caused by the evaporation of urine. As urine begins to dry, it can change the way the test looked at the 5 minute mark.

So how do we compare yesterday’s test to todays? That’s simple. Take a picture. Using the same space – say the bathroom counter – and the same amount of light, click a picture with your phone. Then you can stroll thru those pictures easily – and accurately – to compare one test to another.
