Not ovulating?

Question

The last few months I've been using opks. I have all of the normal symptoms of ovulation, change in bbt, cm, etc but never get a positive read on the opk. I use the testing strips, not digital. Am I not ovulating or am I just using a crappy test?

I've had blood work done a few times in the past because I was concerned that I might not be ovulating. I was told there are no issues every time. Now I'm doubly worried though!

I've been using the most expensive tests (clear blue advanced digital) and the first month I got a flashing smiley (rise in estrogen) from CD13-16 then got a solid smiley (LH surge) on CD17... This month I tested from CD11-23 and got flashing smileys from CD16-23 and never got a solid (LH surge)... I don't temp but I did notice ewcm a couple days, so we bd on those days just incase. But I don't know if I didn't ovulate or if there was something wrong with the tests? I don't understand?

The ones I buy are a pack of 5 for £2.99 so they are pretty cheap and seem to have worked. Maybe your LH isn't very strong so can't detect it? Best visit Dr if worried as you don't want to get stressed over it.

I'm in the same boat as u! I've had signs of ovulating last night, today and even now the tops of my thighs and my left side ache! Yet all my opk's r negitive....once I've taken my last opk I'm not going to continue testing!!

I bought a stack of ovulation tests off eBay, and iv tested religiously plus tracked all the usual things but iv never had a positive on my tests so feel that some cheaper tests don't work?!:-/
