TTC but my bf wants to wait??

Hi I'm 40 years old have a lovely bf for 3 years now, I want children, he doesn't know yet but if it "suddenly" happens he wants them, anyone with the same problem?? What should I do ??

I'm in the same situation with my hubby. He is just a very reluctant and cautious person. He can't stand the thought of "what if". I currently am just trying to reassure him that all will be fine. It hasn't fully worked yet but I can tell he's leaning more my way. Have you asked him what he's worried about? Word of warning though his reasonings might be upsetting or even seem stupid. Try to be patient with him and realize even if it's stupid to you it's genuinely a concern to him. I'm sure he'll come around. Good luck.

Explain to him that at your age pregnancy very rarely just "suddenly" happens. Explain to him that this is something you feel very strongly about and something that will require a lot of attention.
