What happens if your line never gets dark enough?

last month, I had an obvious positive ovulation test but this month I'm so confused! the top test is from yesterday & it's the darkest test I have gotten.... the bottom test is from today & it's super light! so did I O yesterday? ​

I thought the top test was my CD 14 but I was wrong obviously it was my CD 15.

I also forgot to say that sadly I ran out of tests so here's how my cycle kind of went this month:

​CD 13: very faint line
​CD 14: didn't have a test :(
​CD 15: the top test you see in the pic
​CD 16: the bottom test you see in the pic
​CD 17: very faint line

​I feel awful bc the one day I really needed to test I didn't get to!

When it got closer to my fertile window I started testing 2x/day (FMU and around 4 p.m.). I tried to not pee for 3 hours prior to the 4 p.m. test. Also, when I got closer to a positive (similar to your top test) I started testing 3 times a day so I wouldn't miss it! Lol That worked because the evening test I took was a positive! Then the next day I got a positive as well and felt O cramping.
​I'd say just keep testing but don't stress too much about it! Also pay attention to your body. I recognized my O cramping right away this month (first time I have ever actually noticed it I guess!) so I knew I had O'd.
​And, of course, try to BD every other day if possible so then you won't miss the window of opportunity whether you know you've O'd or not.

I normally have a regular 27-30 day cycle, there are times when I stress myself out to the max about wanting a baby & cause it to be longer or cause myself to miss a period! I have been doing really good about that lately & have been ovulating every month. I am although terrible about the time in which I take the tests! I took the top one around 2 PM & the bottom around 7 PM my schedule is hectic so I test when I can.

Keep testing! My line was somewhat darkish on the 7th. Than it got lighter and lighter but I got a positive today!

Same thing happened to me last month. I have a 28 day cycle & I didn't get the surge until day 16. Keep testing!

My cycles were 28days exact and I tested every day and my opk's never got darker then ur top test! Some women don't show a peak yet they get ovulation pain (like me!), some get a massive surge and can pin point it to a T. It just depends on u and ur body! I'm not testing this month as it stresses me out to the max....and it doesn't help hubby either (if u know what I mean lol). Every1 is different, just try and not stress too much over it....as it can delay ur cycle xxx

How long are your cycles typically? I was worried I wasn't going to O this month but finally got a positive OPK on CD25 and CD26! This means my cycle is likely going to be about 40 days long. No positive OPK could mean your cycle will just be longer than usual and you haven't O'd yet.
​You also could have missed your surge. What time of day were the top test and bottom test taken?  
​I got a neg OPK morning and mid-afternoon on CD25 then a solid positive the evening of CD25 and morning of CD26.
