Any ladies with a blocked fallopian tube?

Question

DH and I just began fertility testing this past week, and I found out after going through an HSG X-Ray that my right fallopian tube is blocked but my left was good.

​I'm disappointed but also strangely hopeful since I've heard that an HSG X-Ray can boost fertility. Anyone have any experience with a blocked fallopian tube and/or conceiving after and HSG X-Ray?

I had my test done to make sure I was ok before hubby gets a vasectomy reversal... And evidently my left side is blocked. The doctor said it could just be spasming if it was painful for me ( HA-if, how bout excruciating?) my ob said to try for 6 months before worrying about retesting or continuing with the next step since my other side is working well. I don't know if I could go through another test!!

I had a hsg test earlier this month and my right side is blocked. Very strong cramps if it is blocked. Said to try to still have baby this month and if no pregnant,  I have to go in to get a laposcopy done next month. They say it increases your chances to have baby by 20 %.. Good luck

I haven't had an hsg but am very scared I may have a blocked tube...

​I had a c section a year ago when my second daughter was born because I have type one diabetes. I unfortunately lost my daughter in a horrible accident when she was 6 months old so I had a tubal ligation reversal in September. My first two children I conceived in one month an since my reversal we've been trying (5 months now) and nothing. So........ If I have one more unsuccessful month in going in for my hsg! I'm definitely fearful that the scar tissue has clockedy newly reconstructed tubes :(

I haven't but a friend of mine is in the medical field. He said the tests to see if tubes are blocked can actually unblock them, which is how fertility is boosted. Good luck xx
