Extremely painful AF- chemical pregnancy?

AF started today and I had the worst cramps I've ever had. I was doubled over in pain and considered a trip to the hospital. Even a heating pad didn't bring relief, even though it usually helps. I think it was a chemical pregnancy. I had pregnancy symptoms but AF was on time. Has this happened to anyone?

I *think* this happened to me last month. I was walking the dog and had this sharp pain and I couldn't walk for what seemed like forever and then my period came. However, it wasn't heavy. So I have no idea

I'm so very sorry you experienced this. It could have been a chemical preg, but sometimes (not always) AF is late w/a chemical pregnancy.

​But yes, I had this happen to me 3 months ago, AF was 5 days late, had a BFP, then started essentially hemorrhaging w/golf ball sized clots & severe cramps (Your description of symptoms is how I felt)! I was faint & very anemic (I'm anemic anyways).

​It was awful & after being over the moon to have it all taken from us in the blink of an eye was beyond devastating!! If I hadn't had an OB appt the day this bleeding started, I'd of gone to the hospital.

I was using cheap tests so there not very sensitive. I did not get a positive but i feel that if I was using more sensitive tests it would have. I almost started to consider endo etc. but this month is normal on time and def bearable. I feel almost convinced but I'm not sure I will ever know. It would be nice to know I wasn't crazy.

Sounds like it! I had one my last cycle except mine was a week late and I got positive test :/

This just happened to me! Las month I had horrible cramps when I got AF .... Had to lie in bed, was doubled over, could not have been at work of it wasn't a Sunday, etc. I wondered the same thing but my AF was right on time... But it was lighter than usual after the first day. I would love to know what people think too!

I had this last month and my AF was even late. I don't think I can confirm it but since this month is back to normal I think I did last month.
