I got my IUD in Feb of 2012, I lost my period completely for the time that I had it, until October of 2013, at that point I started spotting a couple times a week, and then it got to the point that I was on my period for 3 weeks of the month. I finally got it removed on the 12th of January & stopped bleeding (after 2 straight months) on the 15th. I then got a very heavy & very painful period on the first of this month. I am wanting to try a different birth control, since my boyfriend and I are very sexually active, but I have had bad experiences with "the pill". Any suggestions?
