Missed period at 12?!

Ok. So this is weird. I'm twelve years old and have only had my period a few times and have always tracked them with Glow. On the days that I was supposed to have my period, I didn't have them. I'm a virgin of course so I can't be preggers. What's wrong!?

It can take a long time for your periods to become regular, so don't worry. Even if you've had a few that are regular your body is still adjusting to all the changes. I remember mine were funny when I first started at age 12 too!

My sister had the same problem. She had her first couple of period once she started having a period and then they disappeared for almost a year. She too was a Virgin so it was just her body trying to figure out how it's going to work. I wouldn't be too worried!

Hi! You are so young, it could be anything from hormones to your body just regulating itself. I'm sure it's nothing, but if you're concerned you should check with a doctor to be sure.
