Prenatal Vitamins making me sick??

Question

I have been taking prenatal vitamins for 3 days and have been fine until today. I feel very nauseous, dizzy and warm. We just began the trying process. With my most fertile days being te last 3 days or so. Has anyone else had this problem???

I vomit if I take them on an empty stomach and/or if I take them with coffee. It works better for me to take them between dinner and bedtime.

This is interesting. I posted last week how suddenly at work I vomited then fainted. I attributed it to my period but now I wonder if it's the prenatal vitamins

I switched to gummies because the hard pills made me sick. No issues since.

I just started taking them two days ago. first day was fine but yesterday I threw up in the middle of eating breakfast'! Not sure if it was the vitamins so i tried again today and I wasn't sick. Later in the morning today i felt nauseous and dizzy but that's all. I'm not pregnant yet (that I know of!) so I'm gunna try these for a few more days and see how it goes. All the best!

I felt sick after the first time taking prenatals but I figured it was because I took it on an empty stomach.. are you taking it with food or snacks?

Yes!!! The iron in prenatals always made me sick! Even with meals! There are some OTC brands that are gentler than others, and your doc can prescribe a gentler brand if you tell him/her what's happening!

I don't take them, never did during my first pregnancy. I take folate and a b complex. All multivitamins make me sick. There is more and more evidence that are actually worthless in the multi pill

You can also take them right before bed with a small snack. You can sleep through the nausea.

They make me sick too once in a while but overall I tell myself what they're for and deal.
