Laparoscopy?? Pros and cons

Question

Anyone get this done. How much pain? One week off of work or two? How long after can I start trying to have baby again? I am very nerves and scared but I hope the reward is a beautiful baby:) any advise is good advise... To know what to except. Thanks ladies

I found it fine. Didn't know anything about it. A little uncomfortable for a few days but ttc a couple of weeks after and back to a manual job two weeks later. Wind pain can be a bit annoying so take something for it.

I had robotic laparoscopic surgery on February 27, 2013 and stay at the hospital one night. I clearly remember that by March 8, 2013 I was dancing at one of my friends weeding party !!

I took 2 weeks off from work just cause I had the option to go on short term for that time. But I was feeling good one week after surgery.

​I started TTC six months after the surgery as my doctor told me and I'm still trying !!

​Every person's body works diferent and some of us can take more pain than others. In my experience I had a lot of pain for the first 3 days after surgery, experienced a lot of pain every time I sneezed or coughed. And there's was some gas going up to my shoulder for a day or tow caused by the effect of the anesthesia in your intestines. 
​I was lucky to have bowel movement the 2 day after surgery.

I had one done 31st of January. My partner and I started trying again on the 7th of February. I didn't got out of bed much for about a week. Laughing coughing and going to the toilet hurt. I had to use stool softners so I wouldn't have to push or basically move much when trying to go. Walking hurt too felt like I was putting strain on my tummy. Up till now I still get a bit of pain around my scars. And they itch a lot. And due to the fact that my skin is think they've formed what basically look like keloids

I had the surgery on a Wednesday and was back to work in Tuesday. I could have gone back Monday but that was a holiday and the office was closed. Don't push yourself. It took me a good two weeks to feel somewhat normal again
