I posted a month or so back about possibly having to have my gallbladder removed during my second trimester. Today I went for my 12 week visit and my OBGYN said she had talked to the surgeon I had a consult with and they want me to get it out obviously before my 3rd trimester because of complications such as preterm labor if the pain continues into my 3rd trimester. My doctor said it's way less risky than having gall bladder issues in my 3rd trimester but I'm still concerned. Just wondering if any other moms have ever had this surgery during pregnancy and could give me some insight before I make my decision!
