Advice needed please
Hi ladies. I'm expecting my 3rd baby. I'm 9+3 just now so haven't had an ultrasound yet. We hope to wait until we have the photo to officially announce it to everyone, but our parents know. We are so excited!
My problem is, one of my best friends is going through IVF. She and her husband have tried IUI twice and had 1 failed attempt at IVF earlier this year. I know it breaks her heart every time someone else gets pregnant. She has been through hell health wise, I just wish she could have gotten pregnant before me. I'm so worried about telling her we are pregnant, I know it will be a huge kick in the teeth. Our other mutual friend told us all via text she is pregnant and I found it a bit cold telling close friends that way..?
Should I tell her face to face or over the phone? I fully understand if she needs to cry and scream at me or just not respond... I know how bad it feels when you want a baby so bad and it's just not happening. I just want any advice on how to approach her :-/ I know she will be happy for us, but really gutted for her own situation.
