Artificial Insemination?

Has anyone gotten pregnant with AI at home? Me and hubby are really struggling to BD in my fertile window so I want to try using a syringe to try to conceive on my fertile days. I just feel trying to make a baby has taken a massive toll on our sex life and it isn't fun anymore and hubby is struggling to get in the mood. Before we started TTC our sex life was great. I'm thinking I just want to use IA for baby making and make love when we want not when we have to. Any success stories?
