Twins concern?!?!
Here's my story. My great grandfather on my father's side was a twin, he didn't have twins later on my lineage because there weren't any girls that would manifest the hyperovulation gene, not until now at least. My direct lineage fom my great grandfather was all males until my aunts an I were born. I am turning 23 this year and my aunt is turning 24 (she got married less than a year ago and has no children yet but suspects she might've inherited the gene so there isn't really any evidence she did). On the other hand, my boyfriend is a twin. We aren't planning on starting a family anytime soon but it's likely to happen within the next three to four years. I'm just curious about my chances of conceiving twins given that my great grandfather transferred the hyperovulation recessive gene to my grandfather, then to my father and aunts and later on to me since I'm a fourth generation and my boyfriend is a twin. Thank you!
