Spotting at 9 weeks?!!

Hi all,

​I am 9 weeks today and went to the bathroom yesterday and had some brown spotting, (note this is the 3rd time this has happened this pregnancy and the most spotting out of all 3 times) so I went to the doctors straight away got blood test to check my HCG quantitive (results should be back today) and I am having an ultrasound this morning! I have no pain I don't feel yuck or anything just my usual tiredness and the spotting has pretty much disappeared this morning but this is the weird part and it sounds weird but it's like I don't feel pregnant?? If that makes any sense? I don't know if this is all in my head or not because Im so super worried that i am having an MC!! Has anyone else felt this after having spotting etc?? Going crazy only an hour and a half till my U/S appointment! I seriously hope I have a sticky baby and I get to see the heart beat!!

When i was earlier in my preg i think 7 weeks i started spotting brown blood did it for 3-4 days had US baby was fine just old blood coming out we could even see it on us! Im 14wk3d now doing great ! I'm sure u are fine but any blood is scary i know

Well I got all my results back everything is great!!! I got to see my little bubba properly for the first time today! I burst into tears when I seen it's little heart beat and it was moving around heaps! Was the most amazing feeling! I definitely feel a lot Better now knowing my bubs is going great! The doc referred me onto the early pregnancy specialists so that if I do have some more spotting they can do some more thorough investigation if they are concerned! Thanks for your input ladies! I always knew that spotting was quite common but it's still so daunting!!

So I was just reading through some things. All very reassuring. Sometime between 6-10 weeks is when the placenta is attaching itself to the uterus. So it is very common for brown (old blood) to make it's way out. This definitely eased my nerves. As long as it isn't bright red blood with bad cramping, then everything should be okay! :)

That's exactly how I feel. I'm 7 weeks and noticed some very very light brown discharge this morning. It went away, but now there was more when I just went to the bathroom. I don't have an appointment until next week and I'm kinda nervous. I think this is normal, but it still puts me on edge anyways. I think I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow to hopefully get in for a blood test. Let me know how your U/S turns out!
