Im currently ttc and wanted to know how you have told your boss or how you plan to tell your boss/coworkers? :) my boss loves excitement so I would think of a creative way to tell her and swear her to secrecy.  Ha ha

I'm about 5 1/2 weeks now and I have told a couple close friends at work but not my boss. I'm a teacher so I plan on making it through my first trimester this summer and telling her when I return next school year. I think she'll be happy for me but I'm just cautious about telling people or making any plans until I know I've made it past my 1st trimester.

I'm a teacher and my boss scheduled me to work summer school. I had to tell her I needed to only work half days cause I'm having a baby! She is a grandma herself with daughters my age. She was literally JUMPING and cheering! It was so cute. I told her the day after we found out, when I was only 3 weeks along. I mostly just told her for scheduling purposes since she needs to know to hire someone else!

Well congrats to all of you!! I only told my boss I was getting married due to needing time off.  I'm really pretty private at work.  Hopefully it happens soon.   :)

Haven't told mine yet and I'm 9 weeks in two days. I've just booked leave on the days of my appointments. If I feel crap before may let her know as she will keep it quiet. She did with her own pregnancy so will understand

I told my managers around 10 weeks but swore them to secrecy for a couple more weeks. I am a waitress and it was getting too hard for me to be on my feet for 8-10 hours each shift as I was SO tired. I'm surprised I lasted as long as I did before telling. :) don't be afraid to tell your boss early, it can only help. Good luck! X

I work as a childminder, I have 2 kids of my own and I look after 3 pre-school kids 4 days a week. I was beyond exhausted in the first trimester, feeling nauseaus all the time. I couldn't wait to tell the mums! Now they know I feel better and can moan to them when they pick up their kids :) I am so looking forward to stopping for a break!! :)

I told me boss and coworkers at 6 weeks. I'm a chef so they need to know why I may slow down or if I feel sick, pass out or start bleeding they know what's up. Also I don't have to feel odd about asking the men to lift the heavy bags of flour

I told two coworkers who are more like friends. One knew I was TTC so I felt compelled to tell her. The other has a huge mouth, I hope she keeps it shut.
