Can being put under to have wisdom teeth taken out cause me to have a miscarriage? I am 7 weeks

Most dentists won't work on a pregnant woman without clearance from your OBGYN. I just got clearance to have a filling replaced, but we are waiting until the 2nd trimester. I would be surprised if a dentist would put you under at any point in your pregnancy unless it was urgently necessary, but certainly not in the first trimester. Talk to your OBGYN and good luck!

the nurse told me to cancel my surgery to have my wisdoms taken out as soon as I found out. I'm just going to put it off because I don't want to risk anything

I had an appt to get mine out years ago. I find out I was expecting my son, and my dentist canceled the operation. So I would definatly call your test to see what he thinks! Good Luck!!

Call ur dentist and OB to confirm i rem a long time ago it wasn't good to have any dental work done but dont rem y

I've heard it's not good to get anything done but a cleaning at the dentist during the first trimester...I would def talk to your Dr about it first

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that, but definitely inform your dentist that you're pregnant before your appointments (even if it's just a routine cleaning).
