Time of pregnancy test?

I know it recommendeds to do the test first thing in the morning, but is it really as important as it says?

I tested positive at 10dpo in the afternoon!! I think I was 5-6 days before AF was due and a cheapie test!

It depends. You are more likely to get a false negative if you take it later in the day. That can be disappointing. You have the best chance for accurate results when it's not diluted.
