Ovulation testing

Baby • Mon, Jun 16 • Almost 33 and FINALLY pregnant with our 3rd after 3 years of trying with medication help! I got pregnant on my 2nd cycle medicated! ❤

I just read that first morning urine should not be used. Is this true? I have been testing the past 3 days around 8am right when I get up :/ also the lines have gotten darker each day is that normal? I am cutting them and taping them to a calendar with my bbt etc lol. for ovulation tests I have heard the test line has to be the SAME color or DARKER than the control line to be positive. Is that correct? Pic is test I took today.
