​Hubby and I practiced the fertility awareness method very successfully when I decided I didn't want to take hormone pills anymore. I tracked my cm and when I was fertile we either used condoms or didn't have sex. It was very easy.

I've never been on birth control--didn't want those hormones in my body. I've always used condoms and then my DH and I used the fertility awareness method from Taking Charge of Your Fertility to act as a birth control before TTC.

I use nuvaRing and it's fantastic. But condoms are also important, don't let some guy change the rest of your life by giving you an std.

don't get on depo I was on it for a year and a half. I would recommend nuvaring.

Stay away from Depo! I was on it for a while and it was terrible! I'm so glad to be off it!

Beat for me was the Mirena (IUD). I hardly got period pains with it and reduced my symptoms.
