Percentages

I've assumed with glow that your highest predicted % day is the day you ovulate. Been using opk two months religiously and usually I got a positive opk the day after my highest % was predicted in glow, which I log and it updates the percentages properly. I'm wondering if we've been doing it too late waiting for a positive opk and should concentrate on the 1-2 days before? So confused.
