What to expect at 14 week appt?

Im just wondering what to expect at my second appt, when I will be 14 weeks along. I had an ultrasound done already at 7 weeks but I was measuring ahead over a week, so I am wondering if they might do another to check the growth? Or will they just wait until the gender scan at 20 weeks. What else will happen at this appt??

So, I just googled prenatal ultrasounds in my area, and there's a place that does gender scans starting at 15 weeks for $59. Had I known that, I probably would have passed in the NT scan! Maybe try to see if there's a place that does these in your area, and you won't have to do the NT! I think I might book one just to find out the gender early and may skip the level II scan at 18-19 weeks (another scan for genetic abnormalities).

Hey hun! I just had my week 14 appointment, and it was kind of a bummer. All I did was pee in a cup, and the dr tried to find the heartbeat with a Doppler. So, not super exciting (probably would have been had I not bought my own Doppler). I was told the next scan will be between 18-20 weeks. I hope your appointment is a bit more fun!!!
