Odd targeted pain lower abs

I have never experienced it before and was hoping my cycle would be coming soon, but it's not for another week+. It's a centered pain in my lower abs, like something about my uterus. I've never dealt with it before...it's foreign to me. Has anyone experience it before? It's like a constant, small cramp, but pinpointed. Uncomfortable but not painful. I'll hate to have to go to the doctor for this because I'm a Navy vet...and those doctors like to give me unintelligent feedback. But if that's the case, I'll have no other choice.
