Nausea and BFN

I've been experiencing pretty bad nausea for the past two days.  It seems to get better when it eat.  I am not expecting AF for another 4 days but I thought maybe this was the lucky cycle and the nausea meant my levels were high enough to test.  Of course I got a BFN and feel discouraged.  Do you think the nausea is unrelated (just bad timing) or is it just too early to test?  I'm so impatient!
