Menstrual cups during chemical pregnancy?

I've read online that tampons are a no-go during miscarriage/chem preg because of infection risk.  I assume the same is true of menstrual cups.  However, this is a chemical pregnancy, so is the risk really the same (as many chem preg go unnoticed anyway, women probably unknowingly use those products anyway)? Just wondering about others experience/what other doctors have said. Thanks.
