HSG Test while on period?

I'm scheduled to go in for an HSG tomorrow morning, but am still having kind of heavy bleeding. This period had to be induced to begin testing, and has been incredibly long and painful. Can I still get my HSG while bleeding?

I had to reschedule it until Monday. They said they won't normally do it past day 10, but with PCOS and extremely long cycles, they're willing to take the chance on doing it day 11. This period has sucked!

I had mine done while I was menstruating with no problem. Shortly after the flow did stop for a day or two, probably cause of the nature of the test, then resumed and finished without incident. I did let them know I was still menstruating and we proceeded.

They won't do it while your on your period. You should call your doc ASAP and tell him
