Anyone taking Metformin for PCOS?

I am taking 1500mg per day and I feel sick to my stomach every single day. I am losing weight, but the side effects are terrible. Anyone other ladies out there having side effects?

I am on 2500 a day! no side effects at all.. in fact I think its not working. still need to work out daily to lose weight. sorry to hear about your sickness.but it will help you lose weight faster.

I just started 500mg a day..... will have to see how things go. if I handle it ok when I start provera and clomid the 21st my md will increase it.  fx to all for it working and helping us get our bfps

I conceived my son on just metformin, after 2 miscarriages I had a beautiful bouncing baby boy, one miscarriage since him now so just got to keep praying xx

I am on it. should be on 1500 but not consistent bc of the side effects. ugggghh they suck!! I know I should do better but I cant function at work if im in the bathroom alllll day.

I am taking it too. I have kept it in the lowest dose so far cause I have felt so nauseous. My doc wants me to up it.. But, ugh...

I was, I'm now at 2000mg taken at night after dinner. The stomach issues subsided (there is an end).
