How did your son or daughter take the news of a baby on the way?
Hi I'm pregnant with my 2nd baby I have a 4yr old son who's going to be 5 start of oct.. Before I got pregnant I told my little boy mummy and daddy want another baby at 1st he hated the idea as in his words "he hate babies"..lol but thankfully my niece son who's 3months old and my friends baby who nearly one has changed his mind about babies he's actually likes them now.. He was the 1st person to know I was pregnant as he was there when tuck the test he got excited when I said I was pregnant.. I'm 11weeks near enough and kind of worried of how my son going to be when the baby does arrive as he does get alittle jealous when I talk or hold other babies..
How did other parents help there 1st born feel involved with pregnancy and the baby?
I do feel guilty as I know it won't just be me and him all the time as it has been for nearly 5yrs.. I've planed this baby with the 5yr age gap between them both so I had one on one time with my son and he's starts full time school in sep so thought be easier when he's at school to have time with the newborn like I did with my son.. Any advice is welcome.. :-) sorry for long post
