Trouble with menstrual cup TMI

Hey ladies, I just got the sckoon cup and was so excited (in a strange way) to use it! I put it in just fine the first time and thought hey this is easier than I thought! But then, I noticed leakage, like right away. So I thought I'd try again after work when I had more time. But then I couldn't get it in!! Finally when I did, I couldn't get it to open!! Any advice?? I got really overwhelmed and quit trying. So I guess I'll have to wait till next cycle. But has anyone else had a frustrating time the first time and then been able to use it after??
