1st ultrasound @ 9weeks ?

Today I got to see my baby for the first time & it was soooo awesome!!! I couldn't take my eyes off the screen, I was so amazed. Tears of joy streaming down my face. I even got to see her wiggle around. Had a strong heartbeat of 173bpm. Such an amazing thing to experience. ??​

The old wives tales says heartbeats below 150 are boys, and heartbeats above 150 are girls. At my daughters first appointment she had a 145 Hb at 6 weeks. This pregnancy I paid to get an ultrasound and the heart beat was 162 at 8 weeks, and I am super feeling like it is a boy!!! They say at this point HB to determine gender is unreliable because at any point this early on they can shoot up or down! But if you feel like it's a girl, then a mamas intuition is more correct than any old wives tale!

Your probably going to have a baby girl with that high heart beat. I remeber reading about old wives tales before going to my first pregnancy ultrasound and the heart rate was 139 and I knew it was a boy because it was below 140. I even had dreams of a baby boy and once we found out the sex I was right the whole time.
